The Holiday Region Kronplatz
The Valley of Antholz in the holiday region Kronplatz Puster Valley is a popular holiday result both in and outside of South Tyrol and Italy. It is situated in lush, green woods and meadows in the spectacular mountains of the nature park Rieserferner Ahrn, where there is a line-up of unique mountains. The most imposing summit is the majestic Hochgall, with a height of 3,436 metres.
Equally very widely known are the picturesque Lake Antholz (1,641 m) and the Staller Sattel (2,050 m) with the pass to the Defereggen Valley in Austria.

Whether you explore the natural landscape of Antholz during cross-country skiing, or you experience unlimited fun on the slopes when skiing at the Riepenlift in Antholz Mittertal or perhaps at the nearby Kronplatz, the no. 1 ski mountain in South Tyrol, boredom will never be a factor.
The Biathlon centre with the South Tyrol arena in Antholz Obertal is known worldwide as venue of the annual World Cup race, and it offers the appropriate length of run for each cross-country skier and ski roller (during the summer). In 2020, the spectacular Biathlon World Championship takes place in Antholz for the sixth time.
